Water Damaged Ceiling in Chapin, SC
SERVPRO of The Dutch Fork received a call about some ceiling damage in a nearby Chapin, SC home. Upon arrival our technicians discovered the HVAC unit located in the attic had malfunctioned and caused the drip pan to overflow for several days. Because the leak went undetected for so long there was significant damage to both the attic floor and living room ceiling. As the water collected below the leak, the living room flooring also became damaged.
The ceiling was repaired and re-painted. The flooring was replaced and affected areas were cleaned to prevent further damage. With minimal disruption to the homeowner's daily activities SERVPRO left the home "Like it never even happened."
